Just to let you know I eventually ended up getting that job we applied for well over 12 months ago, it was a Secondment for me for 12 months. It ended up being very messy due to current restructures within Railcorp and I left the position to return to Driving trains after just four months in the role. However, your application and CV worked wonders; I would have no hesitation in recommending you guys to anyone.

You'd be surprised how many people have resumes that aren't up to scratch... the fact that yours is good from the get go means you already have an advantage over a large number of other people who struggle to put together a good resume.

Just dropping a note to say that my resume investment well and truly paid off. I did not get the initial job which I applied for (being was a permanent position with my existing employer) My casual status meant I had 17 weeks a year of no pay during semester breaks). Being very disappointed at the time I sat back and took a good look at the place, then decided that the nepotism that existed was unhealthy and I would look for employment elsewhere.
During April I applied for 4 jobs and was successful with all. I then had to make a choice. I am now the Training Coordinator for the (company name removed), and also have picked up part time work for a home based job with another training company marking papers.
Each interview I attended I received a positive comment about the professional content and presentation of my resume.

Thanks for all the help and time you put towards my cover letter and selection criteria for the Graduate Leadership Program at my work. The document along with an online aptitude test I completed has ensured my acceptance into the program. This program has approximately 20 positions out of a pool of 170 and only 3 graduates were accepted from my office. Thanks again. I would not have acheived this without your help. In December 2010 I had a professional resume and selection criteria developed. Rebecca was very helpful and understood my requirements. She asked the right questions to obtain the right answers. Victoria was also very polite, cooperative, patient and lovely phone manner. I have referred one customer already and very happy to refer more. Could you please send me some business cards so that I can pass them on to my customers.
My resume now looks professional and my skills and experience are now formalised. Rebecca worked well under pressure as she did not have a lot of notice for my resume or selection criteria. I now have confidence to send my resume to any future employer.

My experience was certainly a positive one and their expertise, particularly in Resume writing, certainly got the desired results. Approximately 2 years ago I found myself unexpectedly unemployed. I had moved towards the Southern Highlands and therefore career opportunities were limited. I gained employment on a casual basis at a local service station which helped to pay the bills and fill in the gaps in my career path. I decided that I needed to rejoin the workforce on a full time basis and had applied for a position with a government agency and failed to meet their selection criteria. I had also applied for a non government job and again failed, so my confidence began to slide, as I felt unemployable and depressed. I was hitting rock bottom, with jobs getting tighter and lots of people applying for work, the competition became fierce.
My life experiences are quite diverse and my career has been noting short of interesting; however I didn't have the experience of writing letters and applications. I then found Rebecca and employed her assistance and expertise to apply for three government positions. To my absolute delight I gained an interview for all three applications and was offered a position with one. Rebecca gave me back my self esteem and confidence. She gave me choices which at one stage I felt I no longer had. I have recently applied for another position and believe that with Rebecca's help, I will have a much better chance of getting to the interview phase. Sometimes you just need a little (or a lot) of help. We all have experience either from work or life that have given us skills to be able to undertake a variety of jobs, however, I would always reccomend using the professionals at Career Origin to help sell those attributes. Rebecca did that for me and she can do it for you too.

Recently, I was retrenched from Suncorp and I attended a group workshop that was run by Rebecca Stewart of Career Origin. I had been to previous Interview Skills Workshop through an organisation provided by my former employer that was helpful but did not goas far in depth into the process as Rebecca did. Areas of the Interview process that were covered were; Common Interview Traps, Achievements and Interview Preparation, Interview Questions and Questions to ask at the nd of an Interview. Each section was discussed in depth and gave me a greater insight than I had before on what was required in terms of presenting my answers in interview questions, particularly to the behavioural questions. Rebecca presented the workshop in a personable and professional manner and I would have no hesitation in recommending her to others.

Hi Rebecca.
Guess who has done well at an interview and been offered a role with (Govt Dep removed)..........Dawn E Carr.
Due to commence Monday 19th May and will be in Orientation for the first 2 days and then into the role.
Many thanks for your support and expert assistance to get me to an interview. I can now enrol and obtain Certificate VI Training and Assessment and finally get myself a career instead of being the jack of all trades and master of none.
There will be heaps to learn and lots of self improvement.
I would recommend your services to those like me who are time poor when addressing the selection criteria for government roles. The best thing I have done for myself the past 10 years has been contacting Career Origin (Pro Resumes).

Thank you for your assistance with my application just prior to Christmas. I was one of 50 selected for an interview out of 550 applicants. As per the application word restriction, you only had 50 words for 3 of the questions and you did it. I then attended a group interview and a 3 panel interview and was successful in gaining a position. Thanks again.

The job that I applied for was completely out of my field but with your ideas and knowledge I was successful in obtaining a position with the Benevolent Society. My position incorporates picking up elderly clients and transporting them to our Cottage at Bexley where we organise activities including balloon tennis, magnetic darts, ten pin bowling with a soft ball and pins, bingo, singalongs, outings, BBQ's and much more. I got a phone call regarding the position; and the Manager said "I read your application again and again and I couldn't find out where you stated that you have been working for us.
