Just dropping a note to say that my resume investment well and truly paid off. I did not get the initial job which I applied for (being was a permanent position with my existing employer) My casual status meant I had 17 weeks a year of no pay during semester breaks). Approximately 2 years ago I found myself unexpectedly unemployed. I had moved towards the Southern Highlands and therefore career opportunities were limited. I gained employment on a casual basis at a local service station which helped to pay the bills and fill in the gaps in my career path. I decided that I needed to rejoin the workforce on a full time basis and had applied for a position with a government agency and failed to meet their selection criteria.
