Proof that it is never too late to broaden your horizons and start a new career.
Colonel Sanders made a variety of different career choices before finding his true calling with KFC. Harland Sanders was a sixth grade dropout and bounced around from one career to another: Army Mule-Tender, Locomotive Fireman, Insurance Salesman, Ferryboat Entrepreneur, Tyre Salesman, Amateur Obstetrician, Political Candidate, Service Station Operator, Motel Operator and Restaurateur! It was only when he reached 40 that he started cooking chicken and he was 65 when he FINALLY franchised his business!
